You can right-click on the graph at any time for a
menu to format the graph. Once you click on the graph, the following key combinations can be used to control most of these options as well: |

Ctrl-B - makes graph thicker Ctrl-N - makes graph thinner Ctrl-P - switch background between gray and white (for copying to Word) Ctrl-F - display function type options (You can also right-click on the y =.) Ctrl-E - switch between normal axes and extended axes with arrows on pos. ends Alt-E - switch between normal axes and extended axes with arrows on all ends Ctrl-R - switch between no arrows, arrows on pos. axis ends, and arrows on all axis ends (Alt-R changes the position of these arrows one pixel at a time.) Alt-H - hides/shows the trace point on the graph. Alt-A - hides/shows the arrows on the ends of the graph itself. Ctrl-U - switch between graph filling space and a uniform grid Ctrl-L - changes how large the arrows are on the graph, increases and then starts over with a small size. Keep hitting this key to find the size you want. Ctrl-Y - hides/shows vertical asymptotes (if present). Alt-N - hides/shows the numbers on the axes. Shift-Alt-T - hides/shows the tick marks on the axes. |
In Area Function Mode: With Digital Signature: |
Ctrl-T - shows/hides tangent line to area function Ctrl-A - shows/hides whole area function Ctrl-D - shows/hides F'(x). Ctrl-C - copies the graph to the clipboard as an EMF (a vector graphics image) (This prints great, but doesn't look as great on the screen.) Alt-C - copies the graph to the clipboard as a BMP (This prints well, though not as nice as the EMF, but it will look nicer on the screen. ) |
